Originally from the island of Jamaica, Kareen fell in love with the art of storytelling at a very young age, however modeling was the art form she originally pursued when first arriving in New York City as a  young teenager.

Now a resident of Lake Mary, FL  she transitioned from modelling, having done commercial and print work locally to acting. VoiceOvers and roles as a cast member in Web TV Series Miserably Single, supporting roles in stage plays Diamond in the Rough, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Orlando Launch 2015 at the ShakespeareTheater, continues to establish Kareen as a presence in the theater community as she continues to grow and develop her craft as a storyteller.

Her recent performance in A Vote A Voice at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center, "was the most "Edu-taining" production I have been fortunate to be a part of". Written by Senator Geraldine Thompson, the play depicts authentic portrayals of those involved in the fight for Civil Rights bringing about the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

In Kareen's past time, when not being a mom to her daughter Cheyenne and son Noah, is rock wall climbing, zip lining and running/exercising regularly.  After all, if life is a race, what better way to be prepared than by "staying active and Alive"?
